Mahnaz Collection is the New York Gallery for collectors of inspired, original, and transformative, designer.and artist jewelry, made from the 1960s onwards. Through its Study Center, it produces original research, scholarly catalogs, lectures and exhibitions. It seeks to give voice to lost masters, promote indigenous artist jewelers, and help to build community among a broad swath of jewelry lovers and collectors. It tries to promote sustainability via the rescue and reuse of old jewels. Most of the contemporary jewelers with whom it works use ethically sourced materials in their work.
